Here's a Contest

Andy had a contest regarding his culinary prowess recently. While the attention it created was significantly larger than its worthiness of attention, I was, for some unknown reason, granted a booby prize as a loser. Long story short, here's a stupid contest if anyone feels like participating. It's more of a trivia thing than anything.

Two summers ago in Flagstaff, Andy began to use a Lowell company Explorer nearly every single day for non-business related purposes. Eventually, everyone began to take advantage of this perk, thus screwing the system. I got as close as I have ever come to an accident in said vehicle.

Anyway, we got two parking tickets while in Flagstaff, a warning and a $65 fine. The questions are:

Who was responsible for the warning? Who was responsible for the fine? Who paid the fine?

This particular question is rigged for a small audience, but everyone is welcome to guess. There will be a prize of great worth.

I got the warning.

You got the real ticket.

No one paid.

WRONG!

Shane paid.

Shane sure as hell didn't pay the ticket.

My guess:

Andy got the warning, Furstie got the ticket, and Steve Tegler paid the bill.

Furstie you ass. Unless you paid the bill, then my money is on Steve Tegler bailing us out by having the charge dropped. I knew that wasn't paid for!

Yeah, the first guess is right, as far as I know. Andy got the first warning, I got the ticket and then I went into litigation against the parking people, claiming that since it was not a private vehicle, I had no warning. I wrote an impassionate letter on the subject, and it's probably in my old archives somewhere, but I'm not going to dig it up now.

The bill was likely sent to Lowell, and I somehow doubt that they paid it. I think that Andy's incident occurred right near when he drove it 2 hours each way to Phoenix, while my ticket was just about the time when I drove it to the Grand Canyon. Both legitimate business endevours. It was a lot more safe than driving with Trent.

I never heard about the ticket.... well I just saw Steve Tegler and he didn't mention it to me
